The section contain a photo gallery of a VFI /Sar-El work program in April-May 2002.

NO - that is NOT a VFI volunteers training or jumping out of airplanes!

We were privileged to work on a base that trains parachutists. The VFI volunteers performed typical duties on a work program: worked in the kitchen, gardening work, building repair, painting, general maintenance of equipment. We also helped with the cleaning of parachutes and activities dealing with maintenance of parachutes and their harnesses.

NO - we did not pack parachutes. The young female soldiers shown in the photos are the real workers - we just tried to help them.

There would be more pictures of work activities - but when we were working - we did not have that much time to take pictures.
