Besides the "sweat equity" you are putting in during the VFI / Sar-El program - here is an opportunity to leave a part of yourself by donating the gift of life - by donating blood.
Magen David Adom (MDA) is reporting
a blood shortage in Israel.
If you are healthy and are willing to
donate blood – please
do so.
MDA is particularly looking for type “O” blood.
Volunteers for Israel® will work with MDA and Sar-El to see if we can get MDA mobile donation units to come to the bases – but in the meanwhile you can donate blood on your week-end off the bases.
